Book 1 of 50 – 12 Rules for Life
Back in August, I blogged about 12 Rule for Life and read seven of the 12 rules. Life happened, i.e. the new school year started. I started reading parenting books. I homeschooled the kids. Oh, yeah, homeschooling, remember homeschooling? My own copy of this title Four months went by and this book waited for me in a drawer, patiently. Once I decided to read 50 books in 2023, as part of my New Year’s Resolutions, I knew I wanted to finish Jordan Peterson’s masterpiece. This first week of the year was a good way to get started on this reading...
December as we knew it (Part 1)
As you can imagine, I have a lot of photos for December so I'm sparing you the endless scrolling and dividing the month's catalog into various parts, the number yet undetermined. My theme was Coping With Change, and it also turns out those three words are perfect for the most recent changes in life that I've been coping with. Bonus words to write about for five...

My Goals for 2023: Week 1 of 52
This post contains affiliate links. This first week of goals is a short one–just 5 days from the 1st of the year until I post on Friday. I kept a goals log to keep my goals front and center in my life, but even then, I didn’t accomplish all I would like to this week. I realize I need to tighten my schedule and become more purposeful with my time if I want to accomplish all 12 of these goals this year. However, I did spend about six hours this week accomplishing a goal that wasn’t on this list–cleaning our...
