Heather Vogler

Heather Vogler, her husband, and their five children call the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia home, where they homeschool and homestead. Heather has homeschooled her children from the beginning and enjoys an eclectic style of teaching. She began her writing career with her blog, Thrift Schooling, to help encourage families who are looking to homeschool on a budget. She then became a freelance writer where she has been featured in several magazines, including Focus on the Family, War Cry, and Brio. Heather holds a B.A. in Christian ministries and currently works at The Old Schoolhouse® as the affiliate manager and copywriter.
