Linking up with Wordless Wednesday and Sandee at Comedy Plus.
***********************************
Words for Wednesday was begun by Delores and has become a moveable feast of word or picture or music prompts to encourage us to write stories, poems, or whatever strikes our fancy.
This month, the prompts are being provided by WiseWebWoman and Elephant's Child is posting them on her blog.
This week's prompts are:
- Jewel
- Jigsaw
- Jerboa
- Jasmine
- Jerrican
- Jump
- Jumbo
- Jellyfish
WiseWebWoman added, use some or all and add another J word of your own if you like.
Have fun.
"What's on tap for this week?"
"This week we have the JOY of unJUMBLING the JIGSAW puzzle that is our attic."
"Are you sure that's all we have left on the list?"
"Of course, I'm sure."
"That's the last thing I want to do!"
"I know, that's why it's the last thing on the list."
Glaring look, followed by, "You did this on purpose."
"Naturally, because there is no good time for it, and I knew if we left anything else undone, it would be put off again. Besides, maybe we'll find great-aunt's JEWEL box."
"Right, sure we will. I'd rather wrestle a JUMBO JELLYFISH."
"Perhaps gramps left a JERRICAN or two up there, you've been wanting more for your camping trips."
"Maybe I'll JUMP out of the attic window and break my leg and not have to help you."
"I've seen you jump, you were the best jumper on the track team. You jump like a JERBOA, you'd probably land in the JASMINE and it would break your fall."
"That would be my luck."
"Well, no time like the present to get started."
"You're really going to make us do this?"
"Yep, and remember, I'm going to suffer through it as much as you are."
"Okay, but when we are done, I want the reward of a whole JELLY roll to myself!"
"Deal."

PS, i keep forgetting that i'm supposed to write a reflections post on the A to Z Challenge. Having to match up my posts to a letter for the day is a fun way to add an extra dimension to the enjoyment i already get out of doing this. That about sums up my reflections.
Congratulations to everyone who did the A to Z!
