Daily Affirmation Cards

I had looked all over for reasonably priced  Daily affirmation cards. Truth is they are either mass produced or very pricey. So, being the crafty/creative gal I am I decided to just make my own.

I was very specific in what I was looking for. I wanted cute pictures that would engage my little kids to actually want to see what was on them. Holding their attention is probably the biggest obstacle.

I wanted the affirmations to mean something. The idea is to help build our children up. The world bombards them with ads telling them they are not enough. There is even a commercial on YouTube that talks about this but my kid repeats the negative things instead of getting the message. (Not sure how helpful that campaign is.)

I really wanted something open ended. I didn't want my kids filled up with someone else's words and thoughts. I wanted to see what they thought about the topic and let it flow from there. I know they are capable of thinking deeper and looking inside themselves. Plus I'm there to direct.

We have been using these cards as part of our morning basket in our homeschool. It only takes a few minutes. Which is great because I like to fit in all the things

You can get your own set at my TPT store. They are only $8. All sales help benefit my homeschool and are greatly appreciate!

Thanks for stopping by!
