Question:
Answer:
I just bought an hp stream notebook, I just tested and I believe it should, mine fits with room to spare. That is a good idea you have. This stand is very sturdy, little heavy and stable, I use mine for my plates. Hope this helps

Question:
Answer:
The rack itself is heavy enough, though it will depend on how well you secure the rack to the cabinet to make a final conclusion. Hope that helps.

Question:
Answer:
The spacing is 1-1/2" between the slots so I would hope that it would work out for you!

I have several of these and use them for lids (pot & pan), baking sheets and platters and trays. They are super handy! I just tried to see if 1-inch binders would work and they fit great! Now I'll be ordering at least two more of these organizers! The actual space between slats is about an 1 1/3 inches.

The spacing between the slots is the same for every slot, and it's about 1.5 inches. My guess is that it would hold 1" binders vertically quite well (I tested it with one 1.5" binder, and it stood nicely).

1 1/2" wide slots. I use mine to hold binders too!
