It is that time of year again and I love spring! Spring is the perfect time to get your house cleaned and organized! It always feels so good to have a clean house and getting it done in the spring helps you to enjoy the fun of summer even more! I have put together a room by room checklist for your cleaning!

The first thing you want to do is gather your supplies:
Paper Towels or Old Cloths
To Do lists
Under the Sink Organizer 
You can start in any room you want! Some people like to start in a room they think will be easier and some like to get the tougher ones out of the way first! I love to put on some good fast music for cleaning and light a scented candle! There is just something that makes tackling cleaning feel better when the place smells good!
Kitchen
Remove everything from counters and clean counters well
Clean all appliances
Wash curtains
Clean windows
Remove everything from kitchen floor and do a thorough sweep & mop
Clean light fixtures
Wipe down all cabinets
Clean out refrigerator
If you have ceiling fans dust them
Clean baseboards
Change smoke alarm battery
Living Room/Family Room
Wash windows
Wash Curtains
Vacuum
Dust ceiling fans
Clean baseboards
Dust all furniture
Dust all plants & pictures
Wipe down light fixtures
Dust all furniture
Clean under all couch cushions and underneath furniture
Wash all throw blankets and pillows
Bathroom
Wash windows
Sweep & Mop
Change Shower Curtain
Wash Tub & Sink
Clean and wipe down the toilet
Clean Mirror
Bedrooms
Change all sheets and blankets and wash them
Dust blinds Dust Ceiling Fans
Vacuum all of the floor including under the bed (it is great if you can move furniture)
Dust all furniture 
Declutter (bedrooms have a way of getting cluttered)
Wipe down baseboards
Flip mattress if you can
Wipe down light fixtures
Clean out your closet (perfect time to donate clothes, shoes, and purses)
Play Room
Sanitize and wipe down toys
Vacuum or mop (depending on floor)
Wipe down light fixtures
Wipe down baseboards
Clean out toys your kids have outgrown
