Googled “ruins near Sanford, Florida (a town near me)” and guess what? That’s how my daughter found some old sugar mill and fort ruins we explored. It’s so fun to explore the ruins and imagine what life was like a century or two earlier. Sugar Mill Gardens Historical site and botanical gardens, Sugar Mill Gardens is located on Old Sugar Mill Road in Port Orange, Florida. Camping at Fall Creek Falls

We are camping at Fall Creek Falls State Park in Spencer (Pikeville), TN this week. Just wanted to quickly post something for you all to see. We like it here. It is not very crowded and there are so many things to do: hiking, mountain biking, swimming in rivers and olympic size pools, golfing, fishing etc. The landscape is breathtaking. So many waterfalls.
