These seats are a hit in my 8th-grade classroom and the 6th-grade classroom down the hall. They stack nicely so you can buy several and not require much more space than purchasing one. The desk portions are sturdy and withstand the weight of a laptop or heavy backpack with surprising ease. Additionally, the simplicity of the design means they’re 1 piece of plastic, so they also withstand being moved by careless kids better than most alternative seating options. Students love them and prefer them to other floor/low seating choices in my classroom.

I purchased these for my 2nd-grade class. The lap desks are a great fit for all of my students. I was concerned that some of my smaller and bigger kids would not be as comfortable with the lap desks but they were fine. My students used the lap desks for writing assignments, reading, and iPad work around the room.I was worried about the students leaning too far over the table area and breaking them in the middle but we didn’t have any issues with this.
