At the beginning of each month I've been participating in a "Currently" link-up hosted at Overflowing With Thankfulness. Our hostess Jennifer posts a set of action verb prompts for the month and writers respond. So, without further ado, here are this month's prompts and what's happening currently . . .
Loving - that I get to buy new furniture?! Hey, I've got to look at the positives of making this move, because it's not what I would have chosen and overall I'm just sad that we had to leave our home. So I'm being intentional about finding things that are good and that make me happy. Getting new things is fun, right?!
Gifting - I'm not sure what we're gifting yet, to be honest. I've barely started holiday shopping, and our family has decided to scale back on gifts and spending again this year.
Wrapping - whenever I get gifts, I'll wrap them! At this point, I'm doing more unwrapping as I'm trying to get things put away in the new place.
Hoping - that all the things we want and need to do this season will work out smoothly. We're getting new tires and I'm hoping to be able to reschedule the appointment for getting them on the car to be done earlier than the original date they gave us. We're planning to have most of the new furniture delivered, and I'm hoping for a much better experience than I had last time I dealt with delivery; and I'm hoping it will all come at once and within the next week! And of course, I'm hoping and believing for a wonderful trip home to see my family and friends for Christmas!
Attending - a few different churches over these weeks as we decide which one is the best fit for our new church home. We may attend some additional services or concerts if we are interested and brave enough. I wonder if our granddaughter will have some kind of holiday program at her school that we could attend? I would love to do that!
This post will be linked at this month's "Currently" link-up hosted by Overflowing With Thankfulness. Shout out to Anne in Residence who originated the link-up and is taking a break from hosting for now.
